Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are an EU/EEA resident, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Right to Access

You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. We will provide this information free of charge within one month of receiving your request.

Right to Rectification

You have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal data and completion of incomplete data. We will respond to rectification requests within one month.

Right to Erasure

Also known as the "right to be forgotten," you may request deletion of your personal data when:

  • Data is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected
  • You withdraw consent and no other legal basis exists
  • You object to processing and no overriding legitimate grounds exist
  • Data has been unlawfully processed
  • Deletion is required to comply with legal obligations

Right to Restrict Processing

You may request restriction of processing when:

  • You contest the accuracy of data (while we verify)
  • Processing is unlawful but you prefer restriction over erasure
  • We no longer need the data but you need it for legal claims
  • You have objected to processing (pending verification)

Right to Data Portability

You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and to transmit that data to another controller without hindrance.

Right to Object

You may object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing purposes. We will cease processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.

Rights Related to Automated Decision-Making

You have the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that produce legal or similarly significant effects. We do not currently engage in such automated decision-making.

Legal Bases for Processing

We process personal data of EU/EEA residents based on the following legal grounds:

Consent

Where you have given clear consent for us to process your personal data for specific purposes, such as receiving marketing communications.

Contractual Necessity

Processing necessary to perform a contract with you or take steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Legal Obligation

Processing necessary to comply with legal requirements to which we are subject, including anti-money laundering regulations.

Legitimate Interests

Processing necessary for our legitimate interests, provided these are not overridden by your fundamental rights. Our legitimate interests include operating and improving our services, preventing fraud, and ensuring network security.

International Data Transfers

As a Singapore-based company, we may transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA. When we do so, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission
  • Adequacy decisions where applicable
  • Other approved transfer mechanisms under GDPR Article 46

You may request a copy of the safeguards we use by contacting our Data Protection Officer.

Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. Specific retention periods depend on:

  • Legal and regulatory requirements
  • The nature of our relationship with you
  • Legitimate business needs

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest
  • Regular security assessments and audits
  • Access controls and authentication procedures
  • Staff training on data protection
  • Incident response and breach notification procedures

To exercise any of your GDPR rights, please contact our Data Protection Officer:

Email: [email protected]
Address: Data Protection Officer, HarbourFront Realty, 1 HarbourFront Walk, #03-15 VivoCity, Singapore 098585

We will respond to your request within one month. In complex cases, we may extend this by up to two additional months, but we will inform you of any extension within the initial one-month period.

Complaints

If you believe we have not handled your personal data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. For EU/EEA residents, this is typically the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
